browser-inswapper
Real-time face swap that runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Built for heisenbert.com.
Choose a video source
More accurate when the head turns (optional): add two more photos of the person in
: one with the head turned a little to the left, one turned a little to the right. About a
quarter turn, both eyes still visible, same light as the front photo. Faces turned to the side then use the
matching photo.
On a Mac? Turn on Chrome's neural network support for about 3× faster swaps.
It lets the browser run the model through Core ML (on an M2 Max: 30 ms per swap instead of 95 ms).
- Copy
chrome://flags/#web-machine-learning-neural-networkand open it in a new tab (Edge:edge://flags, same name). - Set Enables WebNN API to Enabled, then click Relaunch.
- Come back and keep Fastest for this device: it tries both and keeps the faster one.
Swap faces in a video
Add a video and choose up to 60 seconds of it. Every frame is processed on your computer and nothing is uploaded. Each frame gets a fresh swap, so it takes longer than the video plays.
Choose who each person becomes:

The first start downloads about 300 MB of models (they stay cached in your browser), so use Wi-Fi on a phone. Works best in Chrome or Edge on a computer with a recent graphics card or Apple Silicon; recent phones work too (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone), more slowly.
